Quinte West’s Corporate Finance Committee is recommending city council approve an increase in a rebate program on property taxes for low income seniors and people on disability benefits.
If council approves the recommendation the rebate would increase from $200.00 to $300.00 this year.
Last year 59 individuals applied for the rebates.
