Centre Hastings firefighters made quick work of a small fire last night.
Crews from the hall in Madoc were called out around 9:30 after reports of smoke coming from a corner in the rear of a house at 108 St. Lawrence Street West.
The fire was under control in a few minutes and firefighters left the scene in less than an hour.
Damage was minimal and there were no injuries.
