Belleville Police have released the name of a woman who was killed in a snowmobile crash last Saturday night.
Investigators say 39-year-old Rebecca Daynard of Ameliasburgh was killed when the snowmobile she was on lost control and crashed on the Belleville side of the Norris Whitney Bridge, after heading north from Prince Edward County.
No other details about the crash have been released, other than that a 52-year-old man was also seriously injured and taken to Kingston General Hospital.
Police are still asking for witnesses who may have seen the snowmobile, or who may have dashcam footage from around 7:20 that night near the bridge, to contact Sergeant Brad Stitt (613-966-0882 ext 2121).
