4:52 a.m. UPDATE: CONFIRMATION THAT NO ONE WAS INSIDE THE HOUSE
Madoc Township firefighters are on the scene of a house fire on Highway 62 in the area of Deloro and Barker roads.
OPP on patrol noticed smoke coming from the house at 16419 Highway 62 at around 3:20 this (Thursday) morning. It was already fully engulfed in flames at that time.
No one was outside the house and there were no vehicles parked outside. As of 3:50 a.m., Hastings-Quinte paramedics had not been called to the scene.
