Bancroft OPP have charged a 38-year-old man following a fatal collision in September.
Police say on September 18, just before 6:30 in the morning, officers responded to a collision on Hwy. 28 east of Bancroft involving a transport truck and another vehicle.
James Ellis of Bancroft is facing charges of careless driving causing death and improper brakes on a trailer.
He will appear in Bancroft court in February.
The investigation into the collision involved officers from Bancroft OPP, an OPP Technical Collision Investigator and OPP Collision Reconstructionist.
