The provincial Minister of Natural Resources will be hearing concerns about high water levels in Lake Ontario this Monday.
The annual Rural Ontario Municipal Association conference is being held in Toronto and the mayor of Quinte West Jim Harrison says he’ll be asking the minister to financially/and or help residents affected by flooding.
On Tuesday the lake’s high water will again be up for discussion in a meeting involving the Eastern Ontario Mayors’ Caucus.
The ROMA conference starts this Sunday and ends Tuesday.
