It was a good news-bad news day for the Trenton Golden Hawks.
First the good news.
Anand Oberoi was named the OJHL Warrior Goaltender of the Month for December.
The 20 year old Oberoi was 4-1 with a 0.8 goals against average and a minscule .971 save percentage including two shutouts.
The bad news came last night as Oberoi stopped 31 shots in the Golden Hawks 5-4 loss in Burlington.
Keanan Stewart scored the winner at 19:03 of the third period.
Dalton Bancroft scored a goal and assist for Trenton. Samuel Duchesne, Jared Gerger and Griffin Fox added singles. Julien Jacob had two assists.
Trenton outshot Burlington 38-36.
The Golden Hawks were playing their fourth game in five days. They’re in Lindsay Friday night.
