After a strong rookie season with the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL Belleville’s Abbott Girduckis is getting a tryout in the American Hockey League. Girduckis has signed a Professional Tryout contract (PTO) with the Cleveland Monsters.
Girduckis can play up to 25 games with Cleveland before a decision would be made to either sign him to an AHL contract or return him to the Toledo Walleye.
Girduckis has played two games for the Monsters But no points yet. The graduate of the Wellington Dukes and Quinte Red Devils had scored 10 goals and 22 points in 28 games with Toledo in his first full season of professional hockey.
