The Belleville Chamber of Commerce will be taking a new approach to how it operates, after going through a big transition internally in 2019, with new staff and programs.
CEO Jill Raycroft says they will be reevaluating how they deliver some programs and services but will continue to do all they can to support businesses locally.
She added that with 2020 being the first non-election year recently, it provides an opportunity to be more proactive when it comes to dealing with upper levels of government.
She says those relationships are crucial to helping businesses locally and forging them will be another top priority for the year ahead.
She added that the chamber will continue to help support local businesses in dealing with the major issues that affect them, including the need for skilled workers, housing for those employees, transportation challenges and more.
