The Belleville Senators used a huge third period Friday night to defeat the Syracuse Crunch 7-3 on the road.
Parker Kelly scored the opening goal, then Vitaly Abramov scored in the second period to tie the game up at two.
The B-Sens came out flying in the third with five goals.
Joseph LaBate, Jordan Szwarz, Josh Norris and Filip Chlapik jumped in on the fun with loan tallies while Kelly added his second of the night late in the frame.
Kelly also picked up an assist on LaBate’s third period go ahead goal in what he describes as a coming out party in the American Hockey League.
The opening goal was Kelly’s first since Oct. 25. The line combination of Kelly, LaBate and Cole Cassels totalled 8 points on the night to lead the charge for the Sens.
In net, Joey Daccord made 22 saves on 25 shots.
The B-Sens return home Saturday night (tonight) to take on the Toronto Marlies at the CAA Arena. Tickets are going fast for the highly anticipated contest, with less than 200 still available.
The puck will drop at 7 p.m. If you can’t make it down to the arena we have you covered. You can catch game on 800 CJBQ starting at 6:50 p.m
