Lennox and Addington County (L&A) Ontario Provincial Police officers on patrol stopped a speeding motorist after a brief pursuit December 19, 2019, around noon on Highway 401 eastbound in the Napanee area.
The driver, who made attempts to evade police was found to be in violation of a court ordered driving ban issued earlier this year.
Mohammed Aman Ahmed Mian, 26 years of age of Vaughan has been charged with:

- Flight from a police officer
- Fail to Comply with a Recognizance
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Napanee on December 20, 2019, for a bail hearing.
