A plumbing failure has led to a precautionary boil water advisory for anyone using the Ameliasburgh Drinking Water System.
A statement from Shire Hall says Prince Edward County staff are working to repair the issue as quickly as possible, but the boil water advisory will be in place until tests show that water is safe to drink again.
Anyone on the municipal drinking water system in Ameliasburgh should bring water to a rapid boil for at least one minute before using it for things like drinking, making baby formula or juice, brushing your teeth, washing raw foods, or making ice.
