A hospital just couldn’t function without the hard work of a group of dedicated volunteers known as hospital auxiliaries.
The Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary continues to serve the community and will present the hospital’s foundation with a major donation later this week.
The auxiliary will present the foundation with a $250,000 payment toward its $1 million pledge toward the Back the Build campaign which is fundraising for an updated and expanded hospital in Picton.
The formal announcement will be made Friday at 11 a.m. at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital.
