Quinte West council could decide on moving ahead on some major basic infrastructure work on Trenton’s west side.
On Monday, council will decide whether to apply for federal and provincial government funding to help pay for water/sewer and road work on parts of Lorne Avenue and Shuter and McGill streets.
Cost of all of the work would total $3.4 million, however, should the senior governments approve financial support Quinte West taxpayers would only be on the hook for $1.77 million of that.
Quinte West council meets at 6:30 Monday at city hall.
