2019 was a busy year for Belleville’s new city council.
Mayor Mitch Panciuk tells Quinte News that first and foremost was the Housing Summit that set in motion some new rules making it easier for rental accommodations to be established in the city.
He says the city took action on some old buildings.
Panciuk says the city also made significant contributions to Hospice Quinte and the Quinte Humane Society, and announced the move of the YMCA to the west end.
