On Monday December 9, 2019 Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers from the Prince Edward County Detachment stopped a motor vehicle on Highway 62 in Ameliasburgh Ward just after 3:00 p.m. following a traffic complaint.
Donald Kleinsteuber, age 35, from Prince Edward County has been charged with the following offences:
- Operation while prohibited
- Driving while under suspension
- Drive motor vehicle not equipped with an approved ignition interlock device
- Operate motor vehicle without insurance
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on Wednesday January 8, 2020 in Picton.
