Back as Chair of public school board

The Hastings Prince Edward District School Board has elected a new chair and vice-chair for the coming year.

Serving as chair will be Lucille Kyle, a trustee from North Hastings, and the vice-chair will be the past chair Shannon Binder of southeast Hastings.

Kyle had previously served as chair of the school board three years ago.

Binder will be replacing outgoing Vice-chair Lisa Anne Chatten.
