The Hastings and Prince Edward School Board is reminding parents about a planned high school teachers strike on Wednesday.
The board says while all seven of the high schools in its jurisdiction are will be affected in some way, only students in grades 9-12 will see changes to their daily schedules.
All classes and school acitivities, including field trips and co-op placements, will be cancelled and any high school students that show up to school will be sent home.
The board says parents should have recieved a voicemail message about the change and any parents with questions should contact their child’s school.
A letter on the ongoing labour negotiations is posted on the board’s website and you can click here to read it.
