As we continue our look back at 2019, we chatted with the Warden of the County Rick Phillips.
He says one of the big wins of the year was getting funds from the province and the federal government for high speed internet services for rural area.
The Eastern Ontario Regional Network project is looking to get as many people connected to high speed as possible.
Phillips says it’s connected to economic development.
The Warden adds that addressing affordable housing was critical across the county as well.
