New medical clinic coming
Belleville could have another medical clinic along the Dundas street stretch before along.
The city’s Planning Committee has received a request to rezone a building at 199 Dundas Street East, to allow such a business.
The building’s owner Adam Zegouras told the committee earlier this week he has been trying to lease or sell the building at 199 Dundas Street East for a couple of years, and thinks the physiotherapy clinic would work well in that location.
Zegouras noted the area has sufficient parking for the business.
A staff report on the issue will come before the Planning Committee in the new year.
Commercial-Industrial park
A new commercial-industrial park is in the works for lands north of Belleville’s Bell Boulevard.
The owner – Bupinder Paul Sharma – is proposing the development in the area east of Hannafin Road and south of Enterprise Drive.
A staff report to the city’s Planning Committee this week indicated there would be nine lots with a daylight triangle.
This triangle, part of Hannafin Road at the northeast corner at the Bell Boulevard intersection, would be deeded to the city.
The committee is recommending city council approve the draft plan of subdivision, and it’s expected to go before council at its meeting December 9.
