It’s shaping up to be another good year for construction activity in Prince Edward County.
This despite the fact that the amount of activity and value of proposed construction in the county was much less last month than in November of 2018.
Last month the Prince Edward County Building Department issued 48 permits with a total value of almost $5.4 million.
In November of last year 108 permits were issued for a value just over $14 million.
However so far this year, permits have been issued for $102.5 million, higher than $97 million for the same period in 2018.
Last month building permits for eight new houses were issued in Prince Edward County.
