A Belleville man is in custody after an assault in the city’s east end around 9 o’clock last night (Sunday).
City police say a female suffered a minor cut to her head after allegations she’d been struck with a jar.
Officers arrested a 37-year-old man who appears for a bail hearing today (Monday).
His name is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
