The snow is still falling so who knows what today will bring as far as new snowfall records go in the Quinte region.
We almost received enough snow yesterday (Sunday) for a new December 1 record.
According to Environment Canada and readings taken at CFB Trenton, 7.6 centimetres of the white stuff fell yesterday which was very close to the 8.1 cm that fell on December 1 of 1976.
Today’s record snowfall is 8.9 cm which was set back in 1975.
