Pay attention to Mother Earth, otherwise we have nothing.
That was the message delivered on Friday in front of MP Neil Ellis’ office at a climate rally.
Organizer Molly Mulloy says she wanted to show her support of the youth, who will be the most affected by climate change.
Malloy described the Earth’s warming like a frog in a pot of water. The water is gradually increasing, but ever so slightly, and before you know it, you’re cooked she said.
Mulloy said that is essentially happening to us unless we do something now.
Ellis was on hand for the start of the rally, despite needing to be in Peterborough, to show his support.
Albert College student Zuri Brownie says it is important for people like her and her schoolmates see support for climate action.
