A recent effort to attract more nurses to work in Quinte Health Care’s four hospitals has proved successful.
In September, QHC held its first ever nursing job fair at Belleville General and when the day was done 20 nurses had been hired, 14 RNs and six RPNs.
A total of 79 people attended and QHC staff interviewed 41 qualified candidates.
