A wind warning has been issued for the Quinte region ahead of some strong wind gusts tomorrow (Wednesday) that could cause power outages in the area.
Environment Canada has issued the wind warning for Picton and Sandbanks Park, as well as Belleville, Quinte West, Eastern Northumberland County, Cobourg, Colborne and Western Northumberland County as strong southwesterly wind gusts up to 90 km/h are expected early Wednesday evening.
The strongest wind gusts will be along exposed areas of the Lake Ontario shoreline.
Winds will ease Wednesday night.
