It will not take much time for a major project in 2020 to get underway in Tweed.
As we tee up the new year, Mayor Jo-Anne Albert says they have a project set to go that is key to municipal growth.
She says expansion, economic growth, and housing will benefit because of this. They are limited to how much they can build up the municipality, until that work gets done.
The third cell will cost more than $6 million, with Tweed on the hook for about 27 percent.
Albert says through their discussions with upper tier government, both levels have been supportive of the municipality.
