Police have seized drugs and weapons, including a live hand grenade, during a search of a home on the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory yesterday.
Members of the Tyendinaga Police and OPP were involved in the raid and arrested an 18-year-old at the scene.
Kari Maracle is charged with two counts of possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking, along with one count each of trafficking a schedule one substance, unauthorized possession of a firearm, tampering with a serial number on a firearm and possession of explosives for an unlawful purpose.
He’s scheduled to appear in Belleville Court on January 2.
