A team of corrections officers, detector dogs and intelligence officials has made a significant seizure of contraband at Joyceville Institution.
The unauthorized items were allegedly found on a visitor to the Kingston prison, this past Sunday, around 1:30 in the afternoon.
Prison officials say they found 21.87 grams of tobacco and 11.73 grams of marijuana, which carries an institutional value of $3,360.
The police have been notified and the investigation is ongoing.
