If you live along the shores of the Bay of Quinte or Lake Ontario you’re likely sick and tired of the serious flooding that’s been occurring regularly in recent years. Many homeowners and business owners are, and local politicians want to ratchet up the pressure on senior governments and the organization that regulates water levels in the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Seaway to take immediate action to lower the water levels in Lake Ontario.
The organization is known as the International Joint Commission.
If you’d like to see the Commission do something about water levels there’s a water levels rally tonight (Wednesday) in Trenton starting at 6 o’clock at the Dunc McDonald Memorial Community Gardens.
