A convicted murderer has died at Collins Bay Institution.
Prison officials say 77-year-old George Cole died of apparent natural causes this past Sunday.
Cole had been serving a sentence for second degree murder, since March 16 of 1979 and the prison says his family has been notified.
The Correctional Service of Canada will be reviewing the death and under CSC policy, the police have been notified.
