Video footage taken at local gas stations helped Belleville police identify and eventually arrest two men after a wallet was stolen out of a vehicle early yesterday (Monday) morning.
After the theft of the wallet, credit cards were used at various gas stations and video footage led to the identification of suspects.
The pair were arrested separately yesterday afternoon. Meanwhile, warrants are out for another man and a woman in connection with the incidents.
Meanwhile just before 9 last night (Monday) a man reported being punched out and relieved of his money after being offered a ride in the area of Bell Boulevard and Sidney Street. The victim suffered minor injuries.
An investigation continues.
