Brighton council will be asked to financially support an important regional hospital at its meeting tonight (Monday).
A representative from University Hospitals Kingston Foundation will describe the services offered to people in this part of the province at Kingston Health Sciences Centre and Providence Care Kingston General Hospital.
Plans are in the works for a massive $500 million redevelopment at Kington General.
Brighton council will be asked to donate almost $82,000 toward the project over a 5 year period.
In 2018 there were almost 3,500 patient visits from people from Brighton to Kingston General’s many specialty departments.
