Prince Edward County residents, as usual, have shown the most interest in joining the Quinte Health Care Board of Directors.
Q-H-C official Susan Rowe says five of the 14 applications received by last Friday’s deadline were from Prince Edward, with four from Belleville, three from South and Central Hastings County, and one each from Quinte West and Brighton.
A selection committee will decide which of the 14 will be recommended for approval at the board’s annual general meeting in June.
The successful applicants will fill the positions of five directors whose terms expire this summer.
