Belleville police are asking for the public’s help after an armed robbery early today (Sunday) in the city’s east end.
Police report a male entered a convenience store shortly before 2 o’clock this morning, brandishing what was believed to be a firearm and a knife, and demanded cash.
The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect left the store and ran away.
The suspect was wearing black pants and a black coat along with a gray and black hat.
There were no injuries.
