The sold out White Collar Boxing event last month turned out to be a knockout punch for The Grace Inn Shelter.
On Wednesday night organizers, volunteers, and boxers were on hand to unveil the cheque from the funds raised for the event.
More than $15,000 was collected from the boxing fundraiser.
Crystal Buxton of Buxton Promotions tells Quinte News it was the right fit.
Buxton adds she hopes it is not the last time they partner with the shelter.
Board Chair Jodie Jenkins tells Quinte News that the funds will go into physical infrastructure of the building.
