The building boom continues in the City of Belleville.
Last month, a total of 73 building permits were issued by the city with a construction value of almost $14.4 million.
That total is almost double the construction value of permits in October of last year.
The single largest project is a renovation planned for Walmart SuperCentre totalling close to $3.6 million.
Permits were issued for 29 single family homes and six row house projects.
To the end of October building permits have been issued for close to $130 million worth of work, up from $104 million for the same period last year.
