A decision on what will be done with the venerable Memorial Arena building and property is coming sooner rather than than later.
Belleville council is holding a special closed meeting Thursday afternoon to go over details on proposals from a handful of companies or individuals interested in buying the arena land.
The proposals may or may not include ideas for the Legion property nearby.
After the closed session with hopeful developers, an open public meeting will be held so residents can have their say.
That meeting will be held sometime this month.
After that feedback is analyzed, Belleville council will make a final decision.
