Final approvals have been given by both Hastings County and Stirling-Rawdon councils to allow a big housing development to get started.
Local contractors Farnsworth Construction plan to start building Phase 1 of the Harvest Glen subdivision off West Front Street in the village of Stirling.
Phase 1 will consist of 38 single-family homes and 35 townhouses, a walking path, and storm water management pond.
