The Quinte Business Development Centre is going to have a new and bigger home.
Belleville Mayor Mitch Panciuk said at the Quinte Economic Development Commission Board of Directors meeting on Thursday, the city has donated a portion of land to the business for their expansion.
The land was earmarked by the City of Belleville for a road running from Wallbridge-Loyalist Road to behind Loyalist College, but since it wasn’t needed by the city, they donated it to the organization.
The expansion will be led by Trenval and Panciuk says it was important to keep the Business Development Centre in that area.
Panciuk says the expanded Business Development Centre will have all the services they offer available in one location “for one stop shopping”.
The city made the donation of land official on Monday night at their council meeting.
