The City of Quinte West is going to hold a rally in November, with the focus of bringing attention to water levels in the area.
Mayor Jim Harrison announced to Quinte News they will hold the rally, hoping that the International Joint Commission will scrap Plan 2014.
Harrison says local mayors are all united and are concerned about damage to shorelines, residents’ properties, sewage, and septic, and water problems that can occur as well.
Harrison says they are worried this could happen again.
Harrison says they do not have time to wait on this issue
The rally takes place at the Duncan McDonald Community Gardens November 20 at 6:00 p.m. in the upstairs hall, with local politicians and residents invited for the session.
