The Ontario Medical Association has launched a special website in a bid to counter what it sees as false vaccine information, especially on the internet.
Hastings Prince Edward Medical Officer of Health Dr. Piotr Oglaza, who attended the launch of the website in Kingston Tuesday, tells Quinte News vaccines save lives and there’s a lot of misinformation on the internet.
Oglaza points out that although immunization figures for this area are good, more than 4% of 7-year-olds have not been vaccinated.
