High School football playoffs begin
The Bay of Quinte High School football semi finals kick off today (Tues).
The Trenton Junior Tigers take on the Centennial Chargers at 2 o’clock.
The other Junior semi is tomorrow (Wed) with Eastside playing Bayside at 1.
The senior semi finals are Thursday with Centre Hastings at Centennial and Trenton at Eastside Secondary.
Nestorovski “aces” the Fox
A hole in one at Briar Fox Golf Club yesterday.
Charlie Nestorovski aced the 156 yard 14th hole with a 7 iron.
Crusaders and Ravens split high school basketball doubleheader
Karen Brogee scored 12 points and Brooke Godden added 8 as the Bayside Red Devils defeated the Centre Hastings Centurions 46-22 in a Bay of Quinte Girls senior high school basketball game Monday.
The Nicholson Crusaders and Eastside Ravens split a their doubleheader.
The Crusaders won the senior game 28-19 with the Ravens nipping Nicholson 31-30 in the junior game.
