An Ottawa man appeared in Belleville court on October 23 after he fled from police following a traffic stop.
Quinte West OPP were called on October 22 around 7:30 p.m. by Canadian Forces Base Military Police after a vehicle failed to stop and the driver fled on foot in the area of Bain Park.
Officers with the Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit located the 36-year-old man, and charged Nathan Dobratz with flight from police, mischief, prohibited driving, four counts of failing to comply with a recognizance and two counts of failure to comply with a probation order.
