The Belleville Police responded to 57 calls for service between October 27, 2019 at 5 a.m. and October 28, 2019 at 5 a.m.
On October 27, 2019 at 2 p.m., officers attended the intersection of Everett and Catherine Streets in regards to a two vehicle collision. A vehicle travelling on Everett St. failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by a vehicle travelling on Catherine St. The driver of the vehicle that went through the stop sign was charged with failing to stop at a stop sign. There were minor injuries.
Arrest on Warrants
On October 28, 2019, officers received information that a male who was wanted was at a residence on Russell St. Upon arrival officers located Adam Wood. The 35-year-old Belleville resident was wanted for failing to appear in court. He is being held for a bail hearing on October 28, 2019.
