The Quuinte area is in for lots of rain Sunday morning before the showers taper off to lighter showers in the afternoon.
We are expected to get 30 to 50 millimetres of rain. Strong winds up to 60 km/h are possible, with the strongest winds occurring in the afternoon.
Be sure that storm drains are clear of leaves and other debris.
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods as well as water pooling on roads.
Local power outages are possible for the Belleville, Quinte West, Northumberland County and Colborne.
