The Quinte Blades Speed Skating Club was host to about 100 racers at the Ontario Provincial Circuit Short Track competition at the Mackay Insurance Arena this weekend.
Nine local speed skaters ranging in age from 9 to 55 competed setting 16 personal best times. That included Hailey Hancock and Eve McMaster, each of whom earned a silver medal.
The Quinte Blades will be hosting three FREE one hour “Try Speed Skating” sessions in November, register at quinteblades.ca.
