Two houses and two vehicles are on fire in the hamlet of Ameliasburgh in Prince Edward County this morning (Wednesday).
The houses are in the area of 379 County Road 19 near Juniper Lane in Ameliasburgh.
There are propane tanks between the two houses and one of the two vehicles involved is said to have blown up.
Crews were called out shortly before 5 o’clock this morning. Multiple fire stations are fighting the fires.
Hastings-Quinte paramedics have been called in as a precaution. There have been no injuries reported.
Gloria Ruttan lives next door to the scene and says her daughter was up with her baby and saw the flames.
