Shannonville Motorsport Park has new owners.
The new owners are John Bondar and Steve Gidman and they have a lot of plans to revitalize the raceway which has a long and rich history in the Canadian racing industry.
The Bondar/Gidman team plans to build the facility into a multi-use event hub emphasizing corporate events while still focusing on driving/racing/training programs.
John Bondar has been involved in motorsports for over 30 years and started the Canadian Touring Car Championship in 2007.
Steve Gidman began racing Formula Libre in the early 80s including many trips to Shannonville and has recently been racing vintage sports cars.
Shannonville Motorsport Park was built in 1974 as a motorcycle track by John Nelson.
