It was a rock ’em sock ’em kind of night in Lindsay last night but at the end of the game the Muskies prevailed 4 to 2 over the Trenton Golden Hawks.
The G Hawks outshot Lindsay 28 to 16 and also sat in the penalty box longer with 24 minutes worth of infractions.
The referee’s whistle was blown loud and often in the third period with 16 penalties being called, 9 of them against Trenton for such infractions as roughing, spearing, and cross-checking.
